This presentation was given to a class of fellow Secondary Math education students and my professor written about a book that I read called "Arithmetic" by Paul Lockhart. This book was a wonderful read and has historical references that I will incorporate into my lessons as warm up activities.
Technology Web 2.0 Project
This project was assigned for Ed 161 and it utilized screen cast to help create a lesson on how to utilize a website of your choice. For my project, I chose a graphing website to help students graph complex equations that are otherwise extremely difficult.
Help Guide for Desmos.com
For that same project, we needed to create a help guide that could get a beginner to understand how to use the basic principles of the website by using a word document and posting screenshots with arrows.
PowerPoint for Dyscalculia
For my special education class, I presented this powerpoint to the class. The presentation had information for teachers including websites with tips as well as methods of teaching students with Mathematical Dyscalculia.
