Autism Spectrum Connections Workshop

During my junior year of college I attended an eight hour workshop that dealt with the autism spectrum. The goal of this training was to educate and perhaps change perceptions one may have about life on the autism spectrum. The trainer talked about symptoms not in the DSM, first signs or red flags for young children, and co-morbid conditions and how they affect someone on the spectrum. This workshop enhanced my understanding about children who are on the autism spectrum, as well as taught me strategies that I can use in the classroom to help students on the spectrum succeed in the classroom.

Below you can find the certificate that I received for completing the training.
