Using Assessment in Instruction

As part of my senior seminar, I wrote a series of reflections on my observations of teaching and of my own experiences in the classroom. One of the essays that I wrote focused on the purpose of assessment in the classroom and how it should drive instruction. In this essay I reflected on my experiences in using assessment during my lessons in both of my student teaching placements. I focused on my particular strengths in this area, as well as things that I would like to continue to work on and grow in.
