Domain 4: Professional Responsibilities

One of the major components of fulfilling professional responsibility as an educator is reflecting on teaching. In order to determine whether or not a lesson was effective, the teacher needs to think critically about the behaviors of both her students and herself. Other areas that a teacher must be proficient in are maintaining accurate records, communicating effectively with students' families, participating in opportunities for professional growth, and exhibiting a general air of professionalism.
