Australia Custom Box

In my Social Studies methods course, I created a custom box to teach students about Australia. The purpose of this box was to present information about a country of our choice in a way that would be engaging to students. In my custom box are five areas of exploration relating to the currency, famous landmarks, geography, language, and unique animals of Australia. I have had first-hand experience with Australia as I studied abroad there, so I was able to include real pictures and currency in the custom box. Accompanying the pictures of the box is an explanation relating to the intended audience for the box, how and when the box will be used, and the objectives and standards that it addresses.
