Establishing a culture of learning and managing classroom procedures all add up to create a classroom environment that functions effective and appropriately. The teacher must create lesson plans that will function under this idea. Having smooth transitions and monitoring student involvement is all part of creating and instructing successful lessons.
This lesson plan has a discussion activity that demonstrates a comfortable and challenging classroom environment. Discussion and thinking critically are both reflected in this activity and in the entire lesson. I chose this artifact because discussion are very important to how I want my classroom environment. I think discussions are wonderful ways to informally assess students and challenge them at the same time.
