Planning and preparation are the building blocks to successful teaching and successful learning. As a teacher, I strive to create appropriate and engaging lessons, instructional activities, and assessments that not only follow the standards, but also focus on students’ strengths, interests, and learning styles. The artifacts in this domain demonstrate my ability to create comprehensive lesson plans as well as my ability to perform assessments. Additionally, the artifacts display my content knowledge, knowledge of students, and knowledge of resources.
