The results from the Keirsey Temperament Sorter indicate that I fall under the category of INFP, or Introverted Feeling with Extraverted Intuition. Characteristics of INFP's that would be beneficial for a social worker are that they are adaptable, flexible, accepting, as well as curious and quick to see possibilities. They also seek to understand people and to help them fufill their potential. As a social worker, you need to be able to go with the flow and seek out possibilities to help clients improve their lives. It is important for a social worker to be understanding with their clients and desire to help them improve their lives.

INFP's also are known to stick by their values and to be accepting until a value of theirs is threatened. This can be dangerous for a social worker who deals with a variety of people who have a variety of different values. A social worker cannot let his or her values get in the way of efficiently helping their clients.
