Introduction to engineering is a course designed to give you the skills you need to be a successful practicing engineer, and more immediately, a successful engineering student. It is not focused on equations like Physics I, but is rather focused on developing skills in the areas of design, project management, and communication as well as developing an understanding of engineering as a field. You will apply these skills to a semester team project.

Introduction to Engineering I Syllabus

Introduction to the development of mathematical techniques for engineering applications including MATLAB and statistics.  Also, a study of engineering ethics, and written and oral technical communication.   Continued exploration of the engineering design process, including an electromechanical design-and-build project.
