-Field work Journal entry

My second rotation inclueded me switching between 2 teachers. The second round of the second rotation was my favorite because she made me the most excited to be a teacher and helped me realize what kind of teacher I wanted to be. 

*The first moment I came all the kids were calmling sitting and listening to what she was introducing. She was teaching a lesson erosion and how climate affected the soil. The students played informative games to test their knowledge and seemed to stay focused on the topic they were given. It was very interesting to me however how she decided to interact with the students who did not pay attention. Instead of embarrassing them in front of the class or taking away their electronics she waited until that part of the class was over. Once the students had to get out their binders for her to put in new papers for the next test, she called them over and told him how she noticed he was not participating and studying. She went directly to fact that he played on a sports team and how school comes first.He was supposed to go to the coaches after class and tell the coach how he was not participating and have the coach decide what to do with him.
