Noise Level Management Plan: Kindergarten (2c)
While full-time teaching in my kindergarten classroom, I had the opportunity to implement my own classroom management plan. In doing so, I chose to use a noise level management system because my students were having difficulty understanding the level of noise to be used during certain times of the day.
The system looked like a stoplight, with red being No Talking, yellow being Whispering, and green being Talking Quietly. In just a few days, the students were reminding me if I had forgotten to change the noise level sign! It was a great visual reminder for them.
