This IEP was created as a group project about a made-up student. The purpose of this IEP assignment was to provide us with practice and experience of writing an IEP. From the description of the student, it was the group’s job to develop goals of this student depending on each member’s IEP role. Once the IEP was completed, a mock IEP meeting was presented. Each member of the team had an assigned role for the development of the IEP and the meeting and my role was the Special Education Teacher.
