Domain One: Planning and Preparation

Planning and preparation are vital to creating effective instruction. In this section of my portfolio, I have included a number of items that illustrate the best of my ability to effectively plan and prepare to teach, including evidence of my understanding of my content area and pedagogy, my knowledge of students as displayed in tiered questioning techniques, and my methods of creating coherent instruction. I also include information on how I design student assessments that optimally evaluate my objectives for student learning outcomes.
