Danielson's Domain # 2: Classroom Environment

In order to create an effective place of learning, the classroom environment needs to be carefully planned. Students need to feel safe and secure inside of their classroom, as well as having a risk-free environment so they can build their own understanding. Students need to feel comfortable with the teacher as well as the other students in their class. To create an engaging environment, it needs to be created in order to foster student interaction as well as cooperation. Clear rules and routines need to be established as well as prepared plans for behaviors that may arise and cause concern.
