One of my professional responsibilities is to establish consistent communication with students and their families. The communication provides chances for the students’ families to play an integral role in their education. In addition to continuous communication, I constantly reflect on my teaching. After a lesson, it is vital to look at the aspects of the lesson that went well and the parts of the lesson plan that need improvement. By assessing my teaching and the students’ comprehension throughout a lesson, I always find at least one component of my teaching that could be enhanced. Furthermore, I believe in continuous growth and development as a professional. My involvement in service and professional organizations provide opportunities to be introduced to a variety of new teaching methods as well as allow me to interact with students in different settings. All of these vast experiences broaden and strengthen my abilities as a teacher.
