I attended KDP's Professional Development Day on Sunday, February 26, 2017. While at this event, I learned more about increasing diversity awareness in the classroom, interview skills and alternative forms of education. Attending this event demonstrates that I am focused on my professional responsibilities.
While in SED 222, I created a brochure about IEPs for parents. This brochure demonstrates my commitment to communicate effectively with parents outside of the classroom.
I am a member of Kappa Delta Pi, Tau Iota Chapter, the Education Honor Society. In 2017-2018 I also served as the Vice President of Sigma Tau Delta, the English Honor Society. Membership in these honor societies demonstrates that I am focused on my professional responsibilities.
I am a member of Ed Org, an organization that is focused on providing future teachers with service opportunities. I served as the Public Relations Officer in the 2017-18 school year. This membership demonstrates that I am focused on my professional responsibilities.
